I ART JOBURG is a street art event held in South Africa. Local and international artists come together to create large-scale murals in the often overlooked streets of Johannesburg. This event injects a tremendous amount of positivity into the city as buildings that have long been neglected receive vibrant facelifts.

I collaborated with /ANDPEOPLE to develop these press packs. My concept involved upcycling a commonplace box by laser engraving a South African-inspired pattern on the exterior. The cardboard can be likened to the raw material of the buildings, and with the simple addition of one creative action, something new is born. Designer and Art Director Kim Terri Smith was responsible for curating all the goodies inside the box.
